Welcome to Runwae. This privacy policy outlines the steps that we’ve taken to ensure your privacy, and the way we use the information that we collect. This policy applies to people all over the world who use this site. The use of terms such as “we,'' “us”, “our” or “Runwae” refer to Runwae and its affiliates. Likewise, if you are using our services on behalf of any organization, the use of “you” or “your” refers to yourself as well as that organization.

Your Account

Most areas or features within the site may require you to register as a user before you can gain access. The baseline service offered by Runwae is to connect users of existing social media accounts for marketer-influencer partnership purposes. Therefore, the Runwae platform requires users to provide a name, username, email address, and password for registration in order to identify each user uniquely. After registration, the user will be prompted to verify their email address before certain features are accessible. The user will have the option to enter more information to strengthen their identity, connectivity, and reputability on the Runwae platform. The information accessed by Runwae during this can be found listed plainly below in the section Information We Collect.

Each user is responsible for his or her account. We request that you take appropriate measures to secure your account by keeping your login information private. Runwae reserves the right to deny you registration at any time for any reason. Runwae also reserves the right to discontinue your account at any time for any reason. In either of these cases, Runwae reserves the right to do so in the absence of an explanation.

Your Content

Regardless of the user, all content posted on the site must abide by the list of restricted items listed in Content section of the Terms and Conditions. This content restriction has been implemented in the best interest of Runwae and the user.

Runwae reserves the right to remove any information posted to this site, for any time, for any reason. Runwae reserves the right to remove content from this site in the absence of any additional justification or explanation, and is not responsible for any losses that the user might occur from removal.

Information We Collect

Runwae is a strong advocate for the privacy of users. With the aim of creating impactful opportunities for users, we only collect information relevant to our platform. Below is a list of required information that we collect for each user.

Runwae does not collect or store any payment information.

Your Profile

Your profile will be made visible to other users on the runwae platform. Information which is made visible to other users is as follows:

• Your profile photo

• Your header photo

• Your name

• Your username

• Your role on the runwae platform

• Your profile description that you specify

• Your website that you specify

• Your city and region that you specify

• Links to social media profiles that you specify

• Users that follow you

• Users that you follow

• Pages you favorite

• Users that favorite your page

• Items that you posted (marketers)

• Posts for gigs that you completed (influencers)

Information which is made invisible to users visiting your profile include:

• Your email address

• Your ongoing agreements

• Your transactions

Your Activity

Runwae displays an activity feed to users on the platform. Users that follow you will receive a feed of public actions that you take on the Runwae platform (along with the actions of other users that they follow). These exclude private actions such as messaging and payment, but instead include the following public actions which you may take:

• Following a user

• Favoriting a user

• Commenting on a post

• Posting an item

• Sharing an item

• Expressing Interest

Note: apart from the activity feed described above, Runwae only measures how the site is used through the analytics tools described in Cookies and Analytics, and only if you accept them.

Cookies and Analytics

When you first visit runwae.com we show a cookie banner with two equal choices: Accept and Reject. Until you click Accept, none of the tools below are loaded, so they set no cookies and receive no data from your visit. If you click Reject, they stay off.

If you click Accept, the following load on the pages that use them:

• Google Analytics (through Firebase Analytics): measures page views and some actions on the site (for example sign-up, login, following a user or submitting a payment). Google sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_*. Data is sent to Google.

• Facebook SDK: on some signed-in pages, used for sharing to Facebook. Facebook (Meta) may set its own cookies. Data is sent to Meta.

• Runwae page-visit counter: our own script that counts visits to some pages and records which website referred you (the referring site's name only), stored in our Firebase database. It sets no cookie.

Some things work without asking, because the site needs them:

• runwae_consent: a first-party cookie (also kept in your browser's local storage) that remembers your Accept or Reject choice for about 6 months.

• Firebase Authentication: if you sign in, your session is kept in your browser's storage so you stay signed in.

• Stripe: on payment pages, Stripe's script may set its own cookies to process payments and prevent fraud.

• Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and Adobe Fonts, which receive your IP address when your browser downloads them.

You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the site footer or the button below. If you switch from Accept to Reject, we delete the analytics cookies that we can reach and reload the page. Cookies that providers set on their own domains have to be cleared in your browser settings.

Data Retention

• Account and profile. We keep your account and profile information (listed in Information We Collect), together with your posts, comments, follows, favorites, messages and gig records, in our Firebase database for as long as your account is active.
• Closing your account. To close your account, email [email protected] from the address on your account. When it is closed, your sign-in is deleted, your email address is removed from your profile, and your posts are marked inactive. The rest of your profile and your gig, message and transaction records stay in the database until you ask us to delete them.
• Deletion on request. You can ask us at any time to delete your personal information by emailing [email protected]. We will delete it, except records of payments that we need to keep to settle a dispute or meet a legal obligation.
• Email sign-ups. If you enter your email address in a subscribe or guide form, we store it with the time you signed up until you ask us to remove it.
• Cookie choice. The runwae_consent cookie keeps your Accept or Reject choice for about 6 months, as described in Cookies and Analytics.
• Page-visit counter. If you accept analytics, our counter adds to page totals and referring-site totals. These totals hold no name, email address or account ID.
• Payments. Runwae does not store card details. Our records of a transaction (the gig, the amount, the two accounts involved and the Stripe payment reference) are kept with your gig records. Stripe keeps its own payment records under its own terms and privacy policy. Google and Meta keep the data they receive under their own policies.

Firebase

We hereby ensure that the Runwae platform abides by and aligns with the Firebase Paid Services Agreement and Google APIs Terms of Service.

Stripe

We hereby ensure that the Runwae platform abides by and aligns with the Stripe service agreement.

Sharing and Disclosure

Runwae does not sell information about individual users. If you accept cookies, the providers listed in Cookies and Analytics receive the usage data described there. We also use service providers to run the platform, such as Firebase (hosting your account data) and Stripe (payments).

Changes To This Policy

Should any changes to this policy be made, an updated version will be provided at Privacy Policy. The most updated revision will include the date that the revision was published. In some cases, Runwae may provide an email to users, notifying them of the updated revision to the Privacy Policy.
